A Biblical Worship Service
Every first day of the week we come together to worship God. In our worship, we simply try to go back to the Bible and follow the pattern and example of those first century Christians, by worshiping “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). Every Sunday, we sing together as a congregation, we pray together, we listen together to the Word of God being proclaimed, we give together as we have been prospered, and we observe the Lord’s Supper together. We recognize that God is the object of our worship. Therefore, we seek to do and say only those things that will bring honor and glory to His name, for of such He is so worthy (Revelation 4:11)
A Family Oriented Community of Faith
At Poolville church of Christ, we strive to emphasize family – both in our spiritual family of the congregation itself and in our physical families that make up the congregation. In today’s world, the home and family are constantly under attack. We want to provide support, encouragement, and spiritual nourishment to all of our families in order to help them withstand those destructive forces.
For our youth: We offer Sunday and Wednesday Bible classes that are geared to help them learn and grow in truth and spirit.
For the adults: We have regular Sunday, Wednesday Bible classes. We schedule many activities throughout the year such as game nights, men's breakfast, as well as other family oriented activities.
Family is important to us! Those who follow Jesus are called His “body” (Colossians 1:18) and the “family of God” (Ephesians 2:19). We are striving to be that loving, encouraging, and obedient family as described in the New Testament.
